"It’s always a question for me to say what my masks are about. Each mask is an expression of my inner state, which depends of many things, feelings and events. Few time ago I thought that Soviet Union is the same as Atlantis. It is a clear example of a state that has destroyed itself. That’s why I think that we live in a post-apocalyptic world and it’s so romantic. Here is my new mask. Look closer and you will see Soviet badges, golden Christmas ball (it means the Sun), dinosaurs, knights, vintage pin as monster’s teeth and many other curios things. This mask was made of two plastic children’s bows and covered by more than 60 types of high-quality crystals and pearls from @swarovskiforprofessionals This time I took inspiration from surrealism, which was a theme for Swarovski Book of Dreams Volume III."
